When you just want salad – the restaurant version

IMG_2594Fresh juicy shrimp, firm fleshed, a freshly made nappe of “pesto”, NOT out the bottle, trust me if you have good shrimp you either want to savour them as they are, in sweet nutty perfection, or else maybe with a delicate pesto, without garlic, in fact I suspect the sauce used on the shrimp above contained merely oil, fresh basil and fresh parsley, no garlic, no cheese, no nuts, so not really a pesto at all, but very delicious.  Add a small salad, a crisp crepe with sesame seeds, and you are good to go.
