Sunday after Easter – still enjoying Easter Colomba

If you can get your hands on a non- mass produced colomba ( dove) like the one above do so next Easter. Similar to a panettone – they come in traditional ( candied fruits) , chocolate drops and other versions, you put them in the oven for 5 minutes for the butter to melt a bit and then serve after lunch on Easter if you are in Italy, and for breakfast with hot milky coffee if you are me….
