The fountain challenge ended last Friday, however, as I looked through some of my old photos I discovered a number I couldn’t bear not to share, involuntary rhyme there.. The fountain above is in Zofingen in Canton Aargau in Switzerland. The town is very beautiful, old city walls, cobble stones and has some great little shops and restaurants. Perfect place for a weekend outing. If any of your “fountaineers” is still around, and you have any foundling fountains left in your extensive collections, do feel free to share too. The retrospective is coming as well of course! Maybe in the future there will also be some food posts, it is very likely indeed.
I happen to be from Zofingen and passed this fountain every day on my way to school for many years. This lovely picture helped to bring back many memories.
Food challenges sound fun.
But what do you mean by *foundling* fountain?
Well going through my photos i discovered old abandoned photos making me think pf foundlings and liked the combination with fountain – so artistic license 🙂
Ach so! 🙂 Ich dachte schon, die Brunnen seien aus Findlingen in einem Stück gehauen worden!
Zu weit gedacht – aber wäre möglich gewesen!
Hi TG – well done you! Thanks for sharing Poli
I found another one: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2017/02/10/fountain-of-santiago-de-compostela/
